WHAT IS A HOLISTIC MASSAGE TREATMENT?
Holistic means 'whole'. So this form of massage deals with you as a 'whole'. Like other therapies, it is not just looking to treat the symptoms, but to establish the cause, whether it be internal or external. The aim is to rebalance the body so it achieves homeostasis or balance. Holistic massage is a therapeutic application of touch that is also a supportive, relaxing treatment that encourages the mind to slow down whilst energy is increased. This treatment also lifts the spirit on an emotional level.

Pre-Requisite: None - suitable for beginners, although you do need to hold or be studying Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology alongside this course (also available here)

MODEL MAY BE REQUIRED: If more than one student is booked onto the course then students will be practising on each other - NOTE: if no other students book onto the course then the course will run as 1-2-1 training on a model which you will need to bring with you to practice on.

Certifications/Qualifications Attained: Michelle Collins Spa and Beauty Training accredited/recognised diploma. Insurance: Our training courses follow the National Occupational Standards set out by HABIA and are validated and accredited by Professional Beauty Direct and are fully insurable allowing you to gain insurance and use the therapy with the general public and charge.
