Our training courses follow the National Occupational Standards set out by HABIA and are validated and accredited by Professional Beauty Direct and are fully insurable allowing you to gain insurance and use the therapy with the general public and charge.

MODEL MAY BE REQUIRED:: If more than one student is booked onto the course then students will be practising on each other - NOTE: if no other students book onto the course then the course will run as 1-2-1 training on a model which you will need to bring with you to practise on.

WHAT IS A HOT STONE MASSAGE TREATMENT?
An American massage therapist, Mary Nelson, was the founder of the original hot stone therapy which she called 'LaStone'. This system enables therapists to continue to deliver massage whilst easing stiff and painful wrist joints. Using both hot and cold stones enhances the whole massage treatment and the use of the stones is much more than a tool for the therapist, as the warmth of the stones is truly comforting and relaxing and they also connect us with Mother Earth, grounding our vibrations.

• Home Study (12 guided learning hours)
• One Day Practical
• 6 case studies (2 People x 3 times or 3 People x 2 times)​
